#Pioneer control app error c5110 password
No idea why my Spotify password needed to be changed to get the N-50A to work again but there you go !! (my phone and PC were still able to stream Spotify to 2 x Samsung TVs, a Sony receiver and Sony BluRay player throughout the period that the N-50A was off line)?!Įek, it appears we have another one of those Easter network audio related 'miracles'!Īt a guess, I'd say the introduction of the router to extend your network would be another factor to take into consideration.

Ever since, the Android ControlApp has been working on my phone without fault no Network Error codes. In doing so, I had to use a separate laptop to configure the router's settings by coincidence, it booted into Spotify but had the password for my old Premium Account, not my newer Family Account, so wouldn't proceed - resetting the password cured that problem but interestingly it then also listed and was able to connect to the N-50A. While hunting through the garage for a spare Ethernet cable, I found an old BT Home Hub router and decided to set it up as a gigabit switch to extend my wired network to include an X Box and TV (unrelated to the N-50A Spotify saga). I tried swapping cables and ports but nothing changed. Was hoping not to have to send it off for repair but beginning to look unavoidable now. Just noticed that the N-50A is now reporting its name as its MAC address to my router.

Meanwhile, the IR controller is able to select between sources (USB, Music Server, iPod (via USB) and Internet Radio) etc. This is usually populated but setting the IP to 192.168.1.159 populates the Model, Name, MAC Address and Port as listed in my router's 'Connected List' but doesn't allow the App to control the N-50A.

Pressing N-50A returns the Network Error message Connection Failed (Error Code : C5110) whereas selecting the IP Address option this time shows blanks in all fields. Selecting Product in the App shows the N-50A and a link to IP Address. Relaunching the App a couple of times and Selecting Retry eventually reconnects to the N-50A and will control selection of tracks on NAS as before but after a couple of minutes shows another Network Error (either C5108 or C5110). Spotify will play on the phone (and other kit) but not the N-50A. I have tried contacting Pioneer's UK Customer Service centre but have heard nothing back yet.
#Pioneer control app error c5110 how to
Provide any advice on how to reinstate Spotify (I'll be reloading the system's FW as soon as I can locate an up-to-date e updated post below). Can anyone provide a URL for the latest Firmware file (.think I've found it under the N-70A.)?.I have also uninstalled the Control App and reloaded from the PlayStore (S/W Ver 4.1.20-17-xx-xx./0.22.0) which reports as Version 4.1.0 in 'Application Info' on the phone. I thought my player was running S/W Ver s9819.5016.1017, until I overwrote it with the older 1010 file - this hasn't fix the Spotify or error code issue.

I have tried to locate the latest Firmware file on the on a 3rd party download site - there doesn't appear to be anything but USB audio drivers on the N-50A's Product Page on Pioneer's website. Selecting Spotify launches the Spotify App on my phone (Galaxy S7) but the N-50A does not appear in the list of 'Devices Available'. IP Address, Model, Friendly Name, MAC Address and Port settings always appear to be stored correctly. Selecting Retry on the App occasionally finds the N-50A again and will then allow tracks to be played via the Music Server input or from a USB memory stick. I tried a Factory Reset on the N-50A but the Pioneer Control App now randomly loses the N-50A, displaying Error Codes: C3102, C5108 and C5110 (with messages such as Connection failed - please check your product and Network Error - not found). All has been going well until last week - for no apparent reason the N-50A no-longer appears in Spotify (I have a Family Premium account, that was working without issue through the Pioneer, and still works through other Spotify enabled kit in the house (PC, Sony Receiver, BR Player etc). I've been the proud owner of a N-50A for a little over a year now and have enjoyed rediscovering my CD collection which is now stored on a NAS (all ripped as FLAC), a growing collection of Hi-Res FLAC files from HDTracks and to Spotify.
